La Gautrie is 'dog-friendly' and we are very happy to welcome sociable dogs, who are well-behaved and over 12 months old. We except one small to medium sized dog (Labrador size) on request in the cottages and they must be fully house trained. There is a charge of €25 per dog per stay.

Visiting dogs receive their very own ‘Pooch Pack’ to use whilst on holiday with us: dog blanket, food and water bowls and a treat on arrival. In order to ensure that you and the other guests enjoy their stay we would ask that you follow the few simple guidelines below:

  • Keep your dog off all furniture, bedspreads and bed linen for hygiene reasons.
  • Not to leave your dog in the house on its own for long periods of time as a strange place can be stressful for your dog who might cause damage, for which we might have to charge.
  • To clear away any mess made by your dog in the garden and grounds of La Gautrie.
  • As there are two cottages at La Gautrie, we would ask you to be aware and respectful of other guests and their premises. Each cottage has a private and fenced garden for your furry friend to enjoy.
